Of margar Helvítis myndir!

Ahhh…

Now this will be fun albeit a bit strange but I’ll try.

I’m writing in English for once, since not everyone who reads my blog knows Swedish (or Icelandic for that matter).

So let’s go and do pray to whatever god you like that I won’t butcher the english language.

Left Vienna ( or as I like to call it ”The city of Splendors”) today, only to end up in the Ghost town of Brno. Well at least it resembles one during a rainy  sunday.

But before that! I went to a music festival yesterday! And not just any music festival… but Europes biggest (free) festival!

How many people attend this…?

Well let’s just say  that this is like the free Helsingborgfestival in Sweden (100.000 visitors) times 30.

Yes

3 Million people visit this event and my it’s wast!

The black line marks the route we walked in 1 and a half hour. This freak is so massive. It’s like Roskilde on steroids.

But enough of that, even though I do love festivals I found this ”thing” a bit to big for me. You sense how insignificant you are after walking through a endless crown for over a hour.

But what… oh yeah!

BRRRRRRNO!

The town is pretty nice and yeah that’s about it. And wow… not sure if I’ve ever seen so many churches packed so closely together (like a mall that contains 25 mcdonalds if that makes any sense).

We also gained some new friends inVienna:

I found a huge iceberg floating on a globe:

And finally the myth was confirmed…

It doesn’t matter where you are, what time it is or even in what context it is. Some things will just always remain true:
